Busy Hands are Happy Hands!
Fun & inviting play opportunities for children that secretly encourage the development and expansion of language, fine motor & problem solving skills, and much more!
The hands play an important role in most daily occupations we preform. From writing, typing, getting dressed, opening packages, etc.
For children it is the same just with different tasks. Self feeding, opening their lunch box, tying their shoe, squeezing a tube of toothpaste, throwing a ball, the list is endless. Building foundational fine motor skills at an early age is essential as it lays the groundwork for more complex tasks as your child grows and develops cognitively.
As an occupational therapist and a mom of two BUSY young children I am always trying to find ways to keep them entertained without the use of screens.
In a world where screen-time is so prevalent (and sometimes needed of course) it is important to engage our littles in something that will benefit them as they grow.
